This form is for folks to apply to be a volunteer for the 2025 Alberta GSA Conference on Saturday, April 12th at Svend Hansen School.

This conference is for youth in grade 7-12, teachers of any grade, and support workers that directly work with GSAs or the 2SLGBTQ+ Community. Teachers, you will need to fill out this form to account for all students that you are chaperoning to the April 12th 2025 AB GSA Conference. If you are a student who doesn't have a GSA teacher that can come, email fyreflys@ualberta.ca and we will assist you. Please note that teachers are responsible for the permission slips that their individual school may require for students to attend. Deadline to register is: March 12th, 2025. The conference will take place April 12th, 2024 in Edmonton from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Registrants will receive an email with the exact conference location no later than March 12th. The conference is free to attend and lunch will be provided. If you have any questions regarding the event please email fyreflys@ualberta.ca with the subject 2025 GSA CONFERENCE.

This form is for students grade 7-12 (12-18 years old) that wish to attend the GSA Conference but do not have a teacher that is able to chaperone them. The GSA Conference happens Sat April 12th from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, in Edmonton Alberta. Once you've registered, we will send the exact location of the conference one week ahead of time. You can sign up at this form here, and we will assign a volunteer chaperone to you for the conference. Please note that you will have to check in with that chaperone at the beginning of the conference, at lunch time, and when you leave. This chaperone will be a responsible adult that can help support you if you need anything at the conference.
