HCAB at UIC

People with Alzheimer's Disease often experience loneliness and social isolation. Their impaired memory and cognitive functions make it difficult for them to maintain relationships with family and friends, and research has shown a significant link between dementia and loneliness. Small acts of kindness can go a long way in these patient's lives. We will be making decorative, kind cards for Alzheimer's Disease patients at Belmont Village Senior Living. The event is from 4:30 - 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 13th, in Burnham Hall 114. We can head to the big/little dinner right after we finish making cards. I hope to see you there!

Donations can be dropped off at CAWC’s administrative offices. Items purchased via our Amazon Wishlist ship directly to our administrative offices!
