Together with Vanderbilt Divinity School's Lifelong Learning program, Tennessee Interfaith Power and Light, and the Creation Care Ministry of the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, we are organizing an eco-justice teach-in titled "Liberating People, Planet, and Religion." When: April 12, 2025 Location: Second Presbyterian Church, Nashville, TN (with a virtual option for those not in Nashville or Davidson County area). Timing: 9:30am - 3:30pm CT, with light breakfast and lunch served. Cost: Suggested donation of $20 which can be made here. **Be sure to select “Other” and type in “Wendland-Cook Program in Religion and Justice”.

The AFL-CIO, Bargaining for the Common Good and the Wendland-Cook Project at Vanderbilt are partnering to launch Spirit + Solidarity; an organizing training program for clergy and seminary students to learn concrete organizing skills to engage congregations in campaigns for economic and racial justice.
