🌍 Join the movement to make UIUC a zero-waste campus! 🌍 Sustainapalooza is UIUC’s annual Earth Celebration, featuring live music, vendors, crafts, a clothing swap, and compostable dishware—all while bringing the community together for a sustainable future! This year, we're stepping up! 💡 We're launching a one-day composting initiative to divert organic waste from landfills—and we need YOU! As a volunteer, you’ll: ✔️ Help attendees sort compostable materials ♻️ ✔️ Educate the community about waste diversion 🌍 📅 Date: Saturday, April 12 ⏰ Time: 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM (Flexible shifts available!) 📍 Location: Anniversary Plaza on the Main Quad 🙌 Sign up now and be a part of UIUC’s sustainability movement! 🌎 🔥Bonus Perks for Volunteers: 🎓 Earn community volunteer hours for your efforts! 🙌 Gain sustainability leadership experience & network with like-minded peers!

Please join us for Sustainapalooza this spring! -April 12th - Anniversary Plaza - 1 pm to 6 pm; (set-up @12pm) - 1 table and 2 chairs will be provided for you; you can bring a tent and all your decor - We are encouraging RSOs to fundraiser and/or include an interactive element! (trivia, crafts, plant sale, etc.) - No super loud speakers, we need to respect performers! - Rain date: May 3rd All RSOs, community-led organizations, and university entities that have a focus on sustainability or environmentalism are invited to participate!
